ST-708 Multifunctional Cable Intelligent Detector
This multifunctional cable intelligent detector is primarily used for testing high-resistance and flashover faults in power cables. It works in conjunction with cable fault ranging and pinpointing instruments to perform fault distance measurement and pinpointing tasks.
For faults in higher voltage level cables, the application should be determined based on the fault condition. Due to the built-in high-voltage capacitor with a capacity of 5uF, once a fault can be penetrated, it is easier to measure the distance and pinpoint the fault compared to smaller capacity capacitors.
The instrument is equipped with built-in voltage boosting rectification and discharge devices, offering comprehensive functionality, simple wiring, and safe and convenient operation.
Additionally, the instrument integrates an audio signal output function, which, when used with a receiver, allows for rapid testing of cable paths.
