Overhead Line Distributed Fault Location Monitoring Device
The distributed fault location monitoring system utilizes fault monitoring terminals distributed along transmission lines to obtain traveling wave current, traveling wave transit time, and reflection time at the moment of the fault. This data is transmitted to the system platform via wireless communication technology to accurately determine the fault location. Additionally, intelligent discrimination technology is employed to analyze fault waveform characteristics, identifying whether the fault is caused by lightning or non-lightning factors. When the fault is lightning-induced, the system can further distinguish between "back flashover faults or shielding failure faults," and the diagnostic results are immediately notified to the staff.
