How Can 'Power + Computing Power' Enable Power Supply Inspectors To 'See Everything in One Day' Without Leaving Home?

From May 11 to 14, the strongest continuous heavy rainfall occurred in Shenzhen this year. The high-voltage transmission line, the aorta of power supply running through the mountains, is safe and sound. This is inseparable from the "magic power" of digital technology.

"We have deployed an all-round monitoring system in more than 6900 transmission towers in the city to automatically identify hidden dangers and defects of transmission lines through AI algorithm. We have changed the traditional manual inspection mode by trekking through mountains and rivers, and the comprehensive efficiency has been increased by 11 times compared with the traditional mode." Huikun Pei, head of the line Department of the transmission Management Institute of Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau, said that the system has embedded artificial intelligence algorithms such as mountain fire identification, which can identify and alarm mountain fires, and provide data support for urban disaster prevention, mitigation and emergency response while ensuring the safety of transmission lines.

In addition to transmission lines, digital technology is also used in the field of power transformation and distribution, realizing the panoramic perception of power grid status and virtual real linkage through digital twinning. "In the field of digital substation, we have developed equipment status monitoring and hidden danger identification algorithms. Through 5g inspection robot, 5g camera and other intelligent terminals, video AI inspection supports inspection and intelligent operation, and the inspection efficiency is improved by about 2.7 times."

Huangweizhao, a technical expert of the main network production center of Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau, introduced that in the field of power distribution, combined with the real-time online monitoring system, it can realize real-time monitoring and early warning of distribution network status, rapid fault location, automatic fault isolation, and improve the power supply guarantee capability of "the last kilometer".

It is understood that with the massive power grid monitoring data collected by the digital power grid, Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau has also launched the "Super Brain" and released the country's first power equipment monitoring pre training model this year, comprehensively improving the R & D efficiency and accuracy of intelligent algorithms. Taking the production command center as an example, through multi system linkage and big data analysis, the fault handling time of the center is shortened by more than 1 hour on average, greatly improving the reliability of power supply.
